Awesome !!

Great app ! I use this app as milight switch.

Amazing

This is amazing app for controling rgb led strip. Better than milight native app

Great app, needs some more features

Probably the best Mi-Light app out there. Would like to see some more features though, like a brightness slider in the color picker, ability to specify our own colors hex code and smooth transitions between colors. iCloud sync would also be highly appreciated. Waiting for updates!

Apple Watch bug

Issuing light on command via Apple Watch causes that... after a few minutes light is automatically turning off. This is only when doing it via Apple Watch - via iPhone work ok.

What a Smart App

I find a great Way to manage my home automation very fast. I control all my smart stuff using http control . I solved the max 8 widget limitation of Philips Hue with Home Remote. The voice recognition is cool and Ill cross my fingers and hold the fifth star for a future Italian language support. Nice work

Great for many home automation systems

Im using this with Indigo which is an OSX automation system that works with Insteon and Zwave devices. With Indigo you can have commands that are triggered with an http request. This app lets me assign buttons to these urls and they are accessible on the today screen. You can even designate whether your phone needs to be unlocked. Fantastic.

Great!

Im running home seer and have been looking far and wide for something to put custom http commands as buttons in the Notification Center. Also using a pebble and looking forward to seeing that app develop. One bug noticed with this version is that it cant process http calls with spaces which some my my events and devices had in their names.

Great app

This is a great solution to controlling Mylights or Limmitlessled. I downloaded this app and needed some assistance, with Garys help I was able to figure out that sometimes the control box doesnt show in your client list. Resetting the router worked, I didnt set a static IP at the time. When your router assigned IPs they can change on priority, hence your IP for you router then for this app will change at times. My suggestion is to set a static Ip when you set up this app. If you havent set a static IP,, I would suggest it.. Great app.

Totally worth it!

This is by far one of the best home automation control apps on the App Store. Setup is super simple and will have you controlling devices from your Notification Center within minutes! Email support is absolutely outstanding and developers are great at listening to feedback. Have an idea? Send a feature request and youll receive a response! This has replaced at least 5 other home automation apps because of the easy button to URL. Now I have only one very low powered hub sitting in the corner waiting for requests. It also directly controls all of my lighting zones with the LimitlessLED / MiLight bulbs. Definitely recommend this app! 5/5

Perfect for Insteon Hub

My iPad has the local address and my iPhone has iPhone has the remote addresses to all my lights. Swipe down, turn on/off whatchya want. That easy. Much quicker than opening the Insteon app.

Attention Philips Hue owners, great app!

I use this mainly for turning off/on my Hue lights. It also works with multiple assignments like combining several assigned lights and switching them on or off together. It does require you understand the Philips Hue API and how to address a particular light. It even allows you to access the feature remotely outside of your WIFI as long as you have a FIXED IP address. FYI, Fiber optic networks such as Metronet or ATT UVERSE give you that due to the nature of them. I really love this app!

The app you get to help make!!

I love this app! It gives me the front door into so many APIs. I have never seen an app that puts everything in your own hand. Thanks!!

Love the app. Keep up the great work!!

Hey guys wanted to tell you how much I enjoy using your app. There are couple things that I would like to see added to it though. Firstly, I would like to be able to allow buttons to have the same name, so as to be able to have the same button in more than one place to make usage easier. Also, it would be extremely nice if you would allow for buttons to be grouped into categories. For instance, having all my Phillips Hue lights in one category, and a separate category for when I would like to control my Apple TV. Thanks again guys.

Best app to control smart lights!

Best app I found to control my Mi-Light (LimitlessLED) bulbs. Being able to control my lights through the notification screen without having to open an actual app is invaluable.

Great app!

The app is fast and easy to access thanks to the "Today Screen" integration, so no fumbling around finding and opening another app. The latest version lets you change the voice recognition prefix, "SARAH, Im home" for you Eureka fans ;-). Having to open the app to use voice recognition makes it less useful, so actual Siri integration would be much better.

Much more convenient now

This makes controlling my lights much more convenient using the Today notification with a simple swipe down from the top of the screen I can turn on any light as any color and any brightness I have set. Plus voice recognition is pretty sweet even though it still requires opening the app, would love to see Siri integration.

Best milight app

Best app out there. Unfortunately ios8.3 completely broke today screen for home remote, and the app no longer functions at all.

Way more than I expected for a couple bucks

I recently purchased a set of wifi-controllable lightbulbs for my home. They came with a radio-controlled remote and a controller box to work with a wifi app. Little did I know how cumbersome it would be to have to open the app, connect, and finally be able to turns lights on and off, not to mention having to (find and) fumble with the remote Then, along came Home Remote. Its like the developer read my mind about what I need from a remote. Now all I need to do is swipe down from the top of my phone (Today menu) and click one button to control any or all of the bulbs in my house. Setup was mostly pretty intuitive-- although I had a small issue figuring out what IP address to use at first. But after emailing the apps creator and getting an almost immediate reply, I was up and running without a hitch. (Thanks, G!) The quick frequency of updates on Home Remote should tell you that the creator is constantly improving the interface and usability, not to mention adding cool new features. I feel like I got this thing for a stellar price at only $1.99--especially for how customizable it is. Other similar apps are upwards of $30! Okay, now I sound like an informercial. Anyway, if you want to easily expand the usability of your smart lighting setup without spending a lot, get this app!

Brilliant!

Works perfectly with my limitlessled wifi bridge and works right from the lock screen. Who wants to fiddle with a buggy app in the middle of the night just to turn the lights on.

Cool app

Cool app. Looking forward to playing with beacon option. What would make it a killer must have app would be the ability to take different actions to beacon furring different times of day. Example walking into a room during day time would turn on lights 100% but at night only turn on some lights or at 50%.
